ScqIllawarra's are a group of quilters in the Illawarra region, south of Sydney in NSW, Australia.
We are an offshoot of the online Southern Cross Quilters group and have been meeting together in each others homes to share our love of sewing and patchwork in particular since 1999.

A stitching day - January 2005
Here we are stitching madly to finish off the 'Firies' quilts. Looks like we were doing the bindings and sewing on labels .... Lots of 'orphan' blocks were joined together to make quilts as fundraisers for our local Volunteer Fire Brigades.
